Certificate renewals

Certificate renewal is available in two variants:

• On a previously used card – only for the same data and a valid certificate
• on a new card in the form of a renewal kit

The certificate renewed online will contain the same data as the previously used certificate. If you'd like to change your details in the certificate, select renewal in a new tab. We encourage you to deliver your order as soon as possible (by post or in an electronic version with a qualified electronic signature), because the next stages of the certificate renewal process require a valid qualified certificate.

• The documents must be signed with a qualified electronic signature by representatives of companies, which have a kit with a qualified certificate. If the authorised persons are not listed in the National Court Register or CEIDG, appropriate powers of attorney confirming their authorisation to represent the Ordering Party should be attached to the documents.
• The second option is to print them out, have them signed by authorized persons, and then send them to us. Within 5 business days of KIR receiving correctly completed original documents and confirming their correctness, we will send a message to the person, for whom the order was placed, informing how to renew the certificate on your card. • Identity verification is based on a valid user certificate. A detailed description of how to renew your certificate can be found in the instructions.
